Owner, Project Manager and Inspection Team Leader
BEFORE FIT: Directly out of graduate school, I obtained a position with Burgess & Niple (B&N) in Orlando under the leadership of Scott Perfater and Mark Bernhardt. Working for B&N proved to be an extremely valuable experience, developing knowledge and skills in the practices of facility inspection and rope access in many states across the country. Three years later, I moved back to my hometown of Jacksonville, Florida and acquired a job as a bridge design engineer with a renowned company, RS&H. In addition to leading inspection projects, I was able to round out my inspection training by learning design and detailing aspects through various bridge, overhead sign, mast arm, and structural wall transportation projects.
FIT: In 2014, with the support of my mentors and friends in the industry, I started this company, FIT Engineering. I wanted to develop a team of likeminded bridge inspectors dedicated to excellence in our field. With this group of hardworking guys, each possessing a high degree of integrity and commitment to top level performance, I believe we are accomplishing just that.
